SCHOOL We are a small sized-school, which therefore struggle to obtain funds to put special projects into practice. Our students study English and German as a second language. The school is attended by students who come from different social environments and family backgrounds. Some of them would hardly have the opportunity to go abroad and to know other cultures because of the financial and social situation of their families. We also have students with special needs in particular suffering from hyperactivity and dyslexia . Working in this project would be a great opportunity to improve motivation, to develop interest in meeting people from other countries, to help our students to socialize with people from different backgrounds as well as students with special needs. A project like this would moreover show our disadvantaged students the opportunity by institutions like the EU and would prevent an eventual early school leaving on the basis of social origin or personal difficulties. We will host the intermediate evaluation and we’ ll be responsible for the preparation of it. We will evaluate questionnaires and diaries, collect material from the other schools and distribute it. We will prepare the communication workshop together with the German and the Greek school. Left: ALESSANDRA VENTURINI Right: HEADMISTRESS SR. CARLA LAVELLI |
